1. What are the advantages of the RECARO product registration?

  1. By registering your product, it will be checked through different RECARO systems. If approved, you will receive a confirmation that you have purchased an original RECARO Automotive product.
  2. Every registered RECARO product automatically has a warranty period of 36 months instead of 24 months.
  3. You also have the opportunity to become a member of the exclusive RECARO Automotive Owners Club. There you can expect further selected advantages.

2. What are the advantages of the RECARO Owners Club?

With your membership in the exclusive RECARO Automotive Owners Club, you will receive exciting insights into the world of RECARO, into product developments etc. RECARO Awards for outstanding interiors are also waiting for you, as well as other great promotions that are offered exclusively to RECARO Owners Club members.

3. What options do I have to register the RECARO product?

Ideally, please register the product together with the authorized RECARO partner you bought the seat from. Thereby your contractual partner has direct information that you are entitled to the extended warranty. However, please register for the Owners Club yourself, as you will need to assign a password.

You can register the product yourself by scanning the QR code on the product label or using the registration code. [See question 4. for more details.]

4. How can I register my RECARO product?

In future, RECARO automotive products will receive a RECARO certificate of authenticity and a security label (RECARO hologram) on the seat upon delivery.

Scanning the QR code on the product label takes you to the detail page for your product. Then enter your contact details here, send the form and receive your 3-year warranty. A confirmation will be sent to you automatically by email.

Alternatively, you can also simply register your product via by entering the registration number (shown on the product label).

5. Can I also register the product without a QR code?

The product can also be registered via by entering the product number (shown on the product label).

6. Is registration also possible for older products?

A registration of our products is linked to the certificate of authenticity and the security label. Our products are gradually being converted to this new process. Unfortunately, products that do not yet have a certificate of authenticity and security label cannot be registered. However, you have the opportunity to become a member of the exclusive RECARO Automotive Owners Club.

7. Do I also have to join the RECARO Owners Club when registering the product?

No, this is a voluntary offer – regardless of the product registration. You are free to decide whether you want to become an exclusive member of the Owners Club and thus enjoy many advantages.

8. Does the product have to be registered?

The registration of the RECARO automotive product is voluntary and not mandatory. However by registering you have several advantages (e.g. 36 months warranty instead of 24 months).

9. Can I sign up for the RECARO Owners Club without registering a product?

Yes, joining the RECARO Automotive Owners Club is also possible without product registration. If you would like to become part of the exclusive RECARO Owners Club, you can simply register at

Please understand that we need a proof that you are the owner of a RECARO Automotive seat or RECARO Automotive chair. Therefore, please enter the registration code of the product label or upload the invoice for the purchased product.

10. Can I register more products?

Yes of course. Particularly in vehicles, it is common to use RECARO Automotive seats for the driver and passenger.

11. Can I also register an seat that was originally installed by the car manufacturer when I bought the vehicle?

Please understand that we cannot register these so-called OEM products. The vehicle manufacturer is your contact for all matters relating to proof of authenticity or warranty.
